I have an alweld mv1452 with a 27 hp beavertail lt. I just added pods to the back. Ive have 9x7 prop. The boat really seems to plow water. The motor seems to really pull. Ive had several go devil boats and and have never encountered anything closes to this. Im putting a tack on tonight to see exactly what kind of rpm im getting. Is this the performance i should b expecting or shpuld i change to a different prop. Any feedback would help.
How are you pods welded ?? Are they flush with the bottom of the transom?? Weight distribution??

Re: 1452 alweld mv 27 hp lt help
longer boat it will change your longtail life I see thousands of 14ft boats with longtails normally its because its the boat people already have when they get a mudmotor but its the wrong boat for a larger motor
