Briggs animal on 1036 jon thai longtail
375771_780652495279076_1077971519_n (6).jpgI have a predator 212 and i'm running kkk longtail on a 1036 g3 jon boat. I have removed the govenor, good pipe, bigger jets and billet flywheel and rod, I can only turn about 4200 in the water. I have been looking at the briggs animal lo206, anyone here have any success?, Im tired messing with this clone motor.

Brother , what you need is a bigger boat . That longtail will flip the rig with you in it . I will say the carb is crap , cost about $17 . A better Carb from NR Racing , Honda carb I think will cost around 35 . That will let it run smoother for one . More power with that 10 footer is dangerous , and is dangerous the way it is . My .o2 cents .

Yeah it is a little scary solo in the the boat, ive slowed down too fast and almost swamped the rear of the boat and it is very twitchy. a passenger in the front or dog up front for ballast makes it a bit more comfortable, The river i run in has some tight and very shallow spots and its all rocks. as long as the prop is under water you are moving. It works pretty good in the weed beds. only broke 3 props and probably have close to 100 hours on it. I can run from pottstown to damn near Reading up river.

How fast does that thing go. My older bro is looking at those mud motor kits. Are they any good?
