I've had this thing sitting in the garage for a few years and just installed a new motor in it and this thing rattles to beat hell when you run it. It gets a little better at high rpms, but is still annoying. I don't remember the old motor doing this. I took it to a small engine shop and let him listen and he thought it might be something loose under the pull start but I found nothing when I checked it out. Has anyone ever owned one of these and had the same problem. Any help is appreciated. |

I would make sure that your shafts are aligned as much as possible. Sounds like an out of balance u joint, prop. I don't know if they have a center of shaft bushing, but it could have slipped causing an out of balance driveline. Good luck |

If you want to retain the 2/1 reduction Noram clutch.com makes a bolt on wet clutch with 2 /1 reduction that will fit many 7 Hp motors. Mark F. Cheney |
