I know this is a redundant question on here, couldn't find much about the lites though. What's everyone getting with your swomp lite 10's? Or even the 13 or 6.5? I ran my ten yesterday and could only get 11.5 mph with just me out of a 170 lb 1236 sneak slick bottom. Waiting to hear back from backwater. The prop was not in the prop wash and I tried all five prop height adjustments, It got plenty deep. Thinking I nees to switch props, but wondering what expectations should or can be. |

I've honestly never GPS'd my little rig. But if I had to guess, I'd say 10 to 12 mph. The prop height adjustment you're talking about is used only to set the depth your prop sits at when at rest. You will get a lot more from adjusting the cavitation plate. That is IF it needs adjusting. |

10-12mph with a 10hp on a riveted 14-36" with my 230# self is what I get. Play around with your throttle and see if you've more room to give more fuel. Beyond that, play around with weight in the boat. Keep in mind you have less than half the horsepower and one less cylinder than the 23hp, so you're not doing too bad. 10 mph with a 10hp beats paddling. |

I had a similar problem with a 24 on 1448. With myself and the motor all in the back the prop was running in the "v" where the wake off each side of the boat came together and could not push its way past it. Fix was to flip the mount to the inside of the transom. If you do flip the mount, you have to spin the motor around or your steering lock will be wrong. It only takes 30 minutes to switch things around and remove the shims from cav plate. Give it a shot. Good luck! |

I have a 13hp Honda GX390 on a SWOMP Lite glider kit that I put on a 1436 G3. It runs 16-17 mph by myself and all my gear, 3-4 dozen decoys, gun, marsh seats, blind bag etc... 2 guys and similar load its a 12-13 mph rig. |

I put together a glider 10hp. It works good but it's to slow and hard to find upgrade parts for the 10hp 14.50 Briggs motor I have.. I wana put the predator 420 on my kit but not sure if the kit above mine is any different. They are the same bolt pattern and drive coupler size. Anyone know if they build the 10hp and 13hp kit differently? |

I GPS'd 16 bumping 17 up river and 19 bumping 20 down river with the below load on a 15x38 with the 420 predator and swomp lite. I expect to get a bit more out of it once I change hulls as I am currently running on a tall transom and the lites are designed for a short 16" transom according to jake at backwater.
