Looks like I may be the proud owner of above mentioned mud motor soon. Appears to be in pretty good shape ( not beat up,no leaks, etc ,used but not abused). What would be a fair price for a quick sale. I have no need for this motor...but may be interested in something smaller ( 6 to 10 hp)in similar condition. PS. Are mudmotors required to be titled in Texas? Thanks |

Thanks cb....the motor has never been registered as it is coming from Arkansas. How hard is it to get it titled in Texas? Thanks |

If they don't require a title in AR, it's easy. Long as you have whatever was originally required in AR and whatever new paperwork you need for TX, you won't have an issue. Call your local parks office. They'll tell you what forms you need. Make sure you print em and bring em with you. Some types of forms need to be notarized. |

I agree, around 1K. That was my first GD LT motor..a very dependable Briggs with the push knob starter mechanism, the only failure was the starter which I easily bolted in, ran it on a 1436 jon for five years, nearly sunk both but survived. ![]() |
