I know this is longtsil talk but I'm not sure where else to put this topic but I have a 2009 go devil surface drive frame and I galvanized it and painted it but need the serial numbers. First off, I have no idea where to look for them so that's what I need. And I want to put this on a boat with a 20 inch transom, will that work? Any suggestions or help is very much appreciated. Thank you. Harrison |

Post this question in the props and lower units section or the cyber mud fest section, you'll get some help. These Longtail guys are awesome, but they don't know nothing but surface drives ![]() |

On a GoDevil surface drive, stand behind the motor looking forward, look at the rear face of the CV/U-Joint housing, just where the cavitation plate meets the frame. They will be stamped in that area on the housing. I had a Longtail before I got my SD ![]() |
