Stu, as you know, I have it #1 on my wish list, have to wait a season. I do believe my mentor had one of the first longtails down here, circa 1985, a GD 18 HP Briggs, which I later bought from him and used it for a few seasons before progressing to a 25 GD. I just noticed some clouds outside, hoping it will rain, the marsh is about walkable.

The long tails still work where we run. Your right, it's dry out west. The kid was out frogging a few weeks ago and ended up pushing for about 45 min. Hope the water starts coming up soon.

Just to let you know I have one with max 15 hours, which I bought right before end of duck season last year. I put my outboard back on my boat for fishing the lagoon. Well my house flooded and I need cash to start paying off the cost of replacing everything. I am asking 4k and paid around 4,500. Only thing is it is the 71" 35. Runs great and love the motor, but credit card debt has put me in a bad spot.
