Picked up my new beavertail over the holidays and used it saturday and sunday for opennin weekend of duck. I works great!!! So much better than a regaular outboard motor. Its not a speed demon my any means but it gets me there and there is a lot further back than most can run. The boat i had. I cut the back seat out and put a pedistal seat in and painted itbeavertail1.jpgbeavertail2.jpgbeavertail3.jpg

My question is. Is there anything i can do thats not to terribly expensive to make this motor carry a load a little better?

;) I would but there would be a funeral a few days later. Thats my dads big red and he would murder me if i messed with it. Only thing i'm allowed to do to it is change the oil and bearings when it needs them

Steel flex is made my Fasco Epoxies. They have a web site so just search for it. If you order from them they only do COD or you have to mail a check in advance. Most airboat companies can get it or already have it.
