 1436 depth?
So I'm looking to a boat and am going to build a motor, all the 14' jobs are 1436 and most of them around 17" deep . Is that average and if so how are you guys that are running them liking them? Would stability and speed increase with pods on back to help with the weight of the motor?

 Re: 1436 depth?
I have put 420 cc predators on a couple of modded 14' jon boats. The pods made a positive performance difference for those heavier motors.
