Re: Somebody tell me what this is They have lots of torque but are super slow. I think I'd take a thai longtail over a scavenger, and I don't think much of those either. I made the mistake of buying one about 10 years ago. Save your money for a motor with a u-joint.

Re: Somebody tell me what this is That is a scavenger. A guy that used to hunt the same marsh as me in central florida used to run one and said he loved it. Gear reduction, Im not sure the ratio but some people loved them.
