Ok, complete newbie here , but can fab most anything. Basically I have everything I need at my disposal for the build, just need direction, lol. I have an engine here I want to use for the simple fact that once I do this build, I will come up with ways to improve and such and will get a new, bigger, better engine to use for that next build. So, the engine I have is a horizontal shaft Kohler K321 S, from what I've found, its 14 HP. Not the biggest, but not the smallest either. I will get a boat that suits it, or I will make that too. Materials are cheap, have more time than money, lol. So, all I keep reading and such shows a few builds for the vanguard 22HP, should I pattern off of that? What I really need to know is how I should look at building this one? What is a good size boat for this engine? Where to get a prop and how big? Everything else I can make. I know this is a lot of questions, I'm sure there is a thread showing everything I need, but I have not found it. THanks Dandbuck |

why not buy my 2002 25 kohler w new carb and new charging system that has a weak cylinder (not sure why, never dug into it) and rebuild that? It came off a Go devil frame. |

Well, that's a thought. I want to get this first "build" out of the way because I'm sure I will change my thinking after I start this project. If you still have it, I will look you up. THanks Oh BTW, price? Pics? |
