Ok here it is 20x60 alumaweld flat jon 28 inch sides, 21 inch transom motor is a 37 efi swomp long shaft. I have the 2 shims under the plate and it blows out the water I called Arlon he said break shims in half and stack on top of the others at WOT it still blows out of water from time to time. Also with 3 200 lb guys in boat it won't blow out but with 1 or 2 guys it will. I can force it to stay in the sweet spot but that is alot of work. Any advice would be great Thanks. |

Have you talked to them about transom height ? Most LTs are sensitive to proper height above the waterline and also props develop more "lift" with wear so if it used to be better but this has just started consider a prop replacement cause it never hurts to have a spare.... |

Yes I talked to them about my transom height they said it would make some difference and the prop is new maybe 15 to 20 hrs on it. I thought my transom was 20 until I put a tape on it and seen it was 21. I know by what adjustments I have done I am close to getting it right I just want all I can get. If I have to add more shims I will have to get longer bolts. |

What position is your motor mount bolt in? If it's in the middle, try it in the forward position. This will move the motor back a few inches. Also, try raising the bump stop. I run mine all the way up. Hope this helps. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD |

How did you measure the transom? |

I measured it from the outside of the boat. |

Did you measure along the outside surface of the transom or straight down from the top edge down to the plane of the bottom of the hull. |

I measured along the outside surface edge to the bottom. |

That's incorrect. Measure from the top edge of the transom, straight down (do not follow the transom) to a point that is even with the plane of the bottom surface of the boat. Thats the correct way. Think about it as if you were to hang a plumb bob off the transom. |

Will do thanks, I thought you would just measure the surface. I know I am pushing a extremely large boat but dang it sure is nice to have the space for the gear !! |
