So I'm pretty sure normal shaft thickness is schedule 80... But has anyone used 1" schedule 40 ridged pipe for your shaft housing?

 Re: Shaft thickness
I have seen a lot of motor frames made out of schedule 40 black iron pipe in the past. I see more and more dom tubing today
