I am purchasing a swomp 59" shaft from back water.. but don't know how long tails perform best on what hulls... I am looking at a 16-17' hull 38-40" wide... What would best suit this motor... I will be using this set up in cypress swamps without actual runs... just picking my way threw slowly with hard bottom an shallow waters most of the time so bouncy is a factor but would 2" on a rounded bottom make that much of a difference? I run alone 7 gals of gas n battery in front open hull light as possible... So 16x40? 16x38? 17x40? 17x38? I run alot of shallow hard bottoms skinny runs open water time to time.. |
