 Need Parts
I have only had homemade longtails that I have built. Now I don't have access to a lathe and a mill I need to buy a shaft. I went to Go-devil and they said their parts are only for their customers and I needed a serial number to get parts. I have a "borrowed" serial number now but I'm wondering if they will check a database, ask for ID and see it's for a friends longtail. Is this what they do?
Any other places to buy parts? Thanks for the info.

 Re: Need Parts
When I got parts from the local Go Devil dealer they put my frame number in their computer. Told me that any go devil dealer would then have it in their computer under my name and if I sold it to let them know so they could change it. They can track stolen ones this way if someone tries to get parts for it. I also built one years back and that same guy wouldnt sell me any parts at all for it.

 Re: Need Parts
Almost any one can make you a shaft. You are going to pay way more for stainless now than a few years ago however. Be prepared for a little sticker shock.
