 13HP Go Devil
I have a 13HP Go Devil, but i want to put a bigger engine on it. I was wondering what is the biggest HP engine i could use on this frame. Also are there any special specifications that the engine will need to have?

 Re: 13HP Go Devil
Look at the plate under your U-Joint. It will have a serial number and then a frame model.
Example "##### - 16-20BS"
the 16-20BS would mean that its for the 16hp - 20hp Briggs engines.
Most of the smaller engines have the same bolt pattern, but if doing an engine swap you want the make sure the shaft height and dimensions all match. If they don't you will have to modify the frame and/or plate to accommodate the new engine.
There are plenty of threads outlining engine swaps on GDLT's on this site. Perhaps you could perform a search.
