Post 22hp V-Twin Predator Longtail on 1652 Alweld Mod-V
Currently in the works of purchasing a 1652 Alweld Mod-V. Hoping to put a 25hp outboard on the back but also thinking of building a 22hp predator longtail from Beaver Dam Mud Runners[/color] just in case the water gets low.

I know this boat is rather big and wide for a longtail but the guys from Beaver Dam said that it should push this boat at least 15 mph. Thoughts?

I already have a 13hp Predator Beaver Dam Mud Runner on a 1436 Flat Bottom and love it. If you want to build one go with Beaver Dam. Customer service is second to none and a great product! 4 inches of water is the limit for me.

. Here's a picture of my boat with a predator 22 hp engine on it love it goes a bout 22 miles an hour or so

What are the specs on that boat? I've actually changed my mind and am thinking about a 1656 Havoc DBST with a 40 Yammie but I'm just curious.
