Any of yall have a GD crawfish model. Looking at getting a 9hp and wondered if one was better than the other. Will be on a 1436 weldbilt crawdad. Be used mainly for small creeks and some tight timber. |

Any of yall still run a 9hp honda GD? I want a small rig that still has the ass to push 2 guys through grass or a little mud. Looking more for torque really than speed. It will be on about a 125lb boat |

I had one like 30 years ago. it was bulletproof. it had a gear reduction and I think the prop stopped at idle. not as fast as a straight drive, but turns a bigger prop. bought it off a crackhead for 100$ and it looked brand new. sold it after a hunting season, was scared it was hot. it would plane a 14' joboat with one man. don't remember how it did with 2. |

I've seen a longtail run circles around a stuck sd! Definitely a work horse! Sent from my beeper |

I'm running a moded subaru ex27 9 hp with a mikuni 22mm carb and air filter on a light 1436 waco I does pretty good it will be even better once I get the cav plate straightened out main reason I want a longtail is to cross beaver dams and still have prop in the water I was able to jump this dam bother directions riding solo but not so much with my portly sidekick lol |
