I got a Grumman hull I cut out the seats and put in a front deck with the back clear too walk and store crap I got the long tail swamp runner kit and put a 6.5 hp on it I have put a intake and new jet .37 I think iam on a 7 1/2 prop with just me and my battery for lights I think iam getting about 25mph |

I had only done a run with the gps once when I first got it and it did 18 with nothing but me and I borrowed the gps again today and its doing about 20 with just me gas and a small battery 4500 too 4600 rpm |

there is not a chance you are doing 25mph. I have a 1436 with a modded 420cc Lifan (19hp). I get 22mph with just me in the boat. |

I had that same Swamp Runner 212 on a 14/32. Never ran the motor completely stock. With a pipe, filter, and 10.5lb springs - it ran around 16 with no load in the boat. I put a 212 predator that was built for a race kart onto the kit, and broke 30 solo, and 20 with a load. That motor turned 7,000RPMS and had 23HP. |
