Just acquired a Long Tail and the Handle on it is bigger then most around 4" in Diameter. Anyone been able to put a throttle lever like a dirtbike clutch on anything bigger the 7/8 or 1"?

Turn a sleeve to fit the ID of your tiller and 7/8" ID. I make them 2" long and then put a 7/8" x 8" long piece of tubing in the collar. I secure it all together with 2 3/16" stainless pop rivets. works great. I use BMX bike brake handles. Some have longer throw than others. compare them a bit before you buy one. The BMX brake cable works well for the inner cable and I use a poly lined outer housing from the Go Kart world, Asuza is a good distributor source for this.
