Backwater Express next Friday Iowa, Nebraska, Denver
I'm driving from Minneapolis to Denver mostly on 35W to I-80 on a trip next Friday Oct. 7th with an empty truck and no trailer. If you are planning on getting a complete rig or a motor from Backwater I'll be happy to drop it off on my way, preferably, close to the freeway. Contact Backwater to get it worked out and make sure it can all be done on short notice. I know what it's like when you finally decide to pull the trigger and you can't get it fast enough, or when shipping costs are a bummer! I've dropped off small motors/kits before for them before if I'm already going that way, as they have always gone way above and beyond for me, so it's a chance to give back. Plus, the fellow Backwater owners I've met have been really fun people as well.

Wish I could ride along and see that part of the country, or buy a 37EFI! I am really happy with my 26.5 EFI. The shipping cost was fair, the crating expertly done (unlike my experience with MB) and it was easy to put in the pickup bed and take it home. Finally, another hats off to the BW crew, great CS!!

Glades, don't get me wrong, I'd buy a ranch on the Platte river if I won the Lotto, but here's a little insider trick for getting the feel of driving across Nebraska- get in your car, put a photo of a corn field taken from the freeway on your windshield and stare at it for 9 hours and you'll have experienced the drive across Nebraska.

10-4 on the fuel! Rec fuel is a good thing, but I can't always get it...the 93 seems to do better with my 26.5 EFI; I am using Stabil Marine additive, definitely recommend it. Been wanting a fold-away grab bar for the last thirty years! I know MB made one for 125$, are those any good? 45th, you confirm what I've always believed, namely that you don't need a 1/4 heavy azz hull everywhere, and the .100 will do if you use common sense. I don't want a hernia either!
