I toyed with the idea for a while. Instead, I bought a new scattergun, some decoys, ammo, a good bottle of single malt, a new duck call, new camo pants and shirt, premium cigars, and I am content. |

Ha! Now that I joined the 20 mph club, I have to stow my hat. Any more increase, will be hard to sip my coffee. |

I love what you did there, Glades! I wouldn't recommend modifying the long tail. Backwater has pretty much perfected their design...I wouldn't mess with it. There are some decent on modifying the Briggs engine if you are interested in that :O Seriously though....start with a free flowing exhaust, gasket match and relax your intake pieces. Increase the air flowing in as much as you can. Tweak the governor to around the 4k mark. See how that works out for you, and then you can spend more money to get to the hole a few minutes quicker. |

BOLT ON MODS ONLY. (air filter, carb, header) You are spinning a lawnmower engine. Its not built to withstand the tolerances of high RPMs. Look in the engine mod section. nearly everyone with an issue has it on a modded engine. If you need more HP than bolt on mods give, get a bigger engine. |

You don't have to turn the motor high RPMs. You can maintain a lower RPM but increase the torque and HP at the lower range to better carry a load. Peoples voices are heard loudest when they have a complaint or problem. Try these: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=30691 viewtopic.php?f=3&t=8448 viewtopic.php?f=6&t=56931 viewtopic.php?f=3&t=61010 |
