what's it worth? original owner is selling it and claims it has maybe been used 6 times. pictures looks like he is telling the truth. looks like it just came out of the crate.

It's a beast, for sure. Great engines. I'd say, if it's as good as you're telling us, maybe 2-3k. It's still an 08, and engines need to be run to keep seals from drying out. If I was shopping for a longtail and came across a mb used 6 times with that kawa (or the 27 or 31) on top, I wouldn't hesitate to go up to 3500, but that's just me, and many will vouch I'm not right in the head.

I would say closer to the 2k range, and that's being generous IMO. I wouldn't pay that much for a longtail that old. It's 8-9 years old whether it's been used a bunch or not. You can buy a brand new 17 model for not much more than 3500. It's a longtail, not a corvette, doesn't hold it's value because it's not being used.

You might be better off not getting it if that is the one with fuel injection and radiator. A friend on this forum had one and had lots of trouble. parts were expensive too.
