What's the best motor to repower a 2010 6.5 gd? Came with a Briggs on it but I've seen a lot of good things about the predator 212cc hemi motor. Is that just because they're cheap or what? What's the best bang for the buck? I need something I can trust, not necessarily the cheapest thing I can just throw parts at all the time. Predator, Honda, Briggs, Kohler? I use to have a Honda gx200 that had 1,400 hours on it and the only thing that got replaced was a carb and coil. Was a beast. The predator is supposed to be a clone of that, at a much lower price. HF also has a very liberal return policy and warranty. The value in that motor is probably worth the premium you would spend on a genuine Honda. Haven’t heard any bad things about the predator single cylinder engines. |
