I'm always wheelin' and dealin' with boats, and I came across a 96' Tracker Tadpole 12 for a good price. I cleaned it up and relisted it. But the more I look at it, the more I want to strip the rear seat out. Install a grab bar and a Backwater SWOMP lite 13 and turn it into a solo river runner just for bombing around with a cooler of beer. Only longtail I've ever owned is a SWOMP 40 on a 1752 flat. Any ideas how a 1236 / tadpole 12 would do with a SWOMP lite 13? I'm 6'5 300lbs. So it would just be for thrashing around and having fun. The boat can't weigh much more than 100 pounds. Thoughts?? |

I think the boat will squat towards the rear. That’s a small boat and you sound like a gigantic human. Those tadpole boats are cool little pond fishing boats. |

Probably so... Dang. Maybe it's best suited for a set of oars and used as a drift boat on the river. |
