 Very small lt question
I was just givin a go devil long tail with an 8hp on it. Motor was put on by a do it yourselfer who really didnt know what he was doing. The motor is junk really but the frame is in good shape. I was lookin around my grandpas shop and he gave me a tiller with a 5.5 brigs and straton on it. Whats your thoughts about putting the 5.5 on the go devil frame.

 Re: Very small lt question
Not going to do much but push slow cross open water... If your asking will it fit the frame? You will have to use the math skills you learned in school... Measure from the center of the output shaft to the base plate if its the same and the output shaft OD are the same, it should work... Search... Search.... Search... Its at the bottom of the page... Thats your free pass.....

 Re: Very small lt question
the briggs outboard has the wrong style engine on it. you need something with a 1" keyed vert. shaft. 8 to 13 hp. if you want it to fit with no mods to the engine or frame.

 Re: Very small lt question
i had a 13 bt long tail. it was a good motor . the 13 hp is a pretty strong runner. check out some of the cart sites, i think its a popular motor for them.
