 GD 16x44 w/27 Kohler LT Alright so I am flip flopping abck in forth just when I thought I was going to get the 23 Hp Vanguard...anyone running this setup? What kind of performance are you getting? Figured the for the price difference the extra ponnies couldn't hurt.

Re: GD 16x44 w/27 Kohler LT Warren Coco told me years ago that a 23 is like running a 292 Chevy 6cyl a 27 is like running a 350 Chevy a 31 is like a 454 and a 35 is a 502.So for my 2 cents go with the 350 (27 Kohler)you will love it.

Re: GD 16x44 w/27 Kohler LT i have a 23 on a 1644 and i have no complaints. dont have any gps speeds but it has performed well so far and i also like having the pull start option. i will eventually put a sd on it but this combo will keep me satisfied til then.

Re: GD 16x44 w/27 Kohler LT sold the whole rig back before season. was working 6 days a week and had a new baby girl on the way. knew i wouldnt have much time to hunt so i let it go. i had planned to buy again when summer rolled around but this deal found me and i couldnt pass it up.
