How does these motor hold up. I have found one and was thinking about getting it. Is there any problems that i need to know about.

From what I've heard. Its a real good motor. Runs very smooth.

does any body know about how much a fuel pump cost.

It all depends on what brand you get. Mine is nothing more than an automotive electric fuel pump. I just mounted it to the shroud of the motor, it works great. I think I paid around $25.00.

The only bad thing I've heard about the kaw. motor is if you run in the woods where there are lots of branches etc, watch out for em, because they'll poke a hole in the radiator. So you may want to build some type of screen to protect it a bit. That's what a buddy of mine did? But after he poked a hole right through the radiator. Left him stranded on the river, lucky he was up stream! I found him floating down the river and towed him back to our dock. It cost him some jack to get a new one too.

He used 1/8" square screen over a tube frame to protect it. Seems to work fine?
