im havin trouble when i throttle up my motor wants to go dead or just not go. i changed the plugs but didnt help much. whenever i put in under a load it just boggs down or quits. what should i look at first. one fella told me i needed to buy a new carb. i hope thats not the case. |

i had the same prob with mines a while back clean the carbs out real all the jets clean them really good and that might solve ya problem |

I think I had the same problem on my 16 Briggs at one time,, and I think it was the fuel pump. thats where I would start. its an easy check and a fairly inexpensive fix if it is the problem. |

IT IS THE JETS CALL COCO AT GODEVIL THEY HAD A PROBLEM WITH THAT MOTOR AND THE JETS HE WILL SEND YOU SOME BIGGER JETS AND U WILL BE RUNNING JUST FINE |

Had the same prob wit my 23. Rapped up RPMs out of water, put it in the water and wouldnt get out of its own way. Sucked up trash in carb. Clean carb and problem solved. |
