Post A little more power...
I have a 27 HP kohler LT and would like to have a little more juice for my rig when fully loaded with duck hunting equipment. Any Ideas? I called the Marsh Mellow folks and they don't offer an exhaust for the Kohler. Any input would be great.

I'd love to give you some advise, but I'm not having very good luck with mine  There's quite a bit of info posted on here about them if you search for it.

For the LT, you can get an exhaust from EVT or BPS. I have the EVT on mine and I like it.

Far as what I'd do if I started over right now. I would get an exhaust, and buy the 30 heads and have em shaved 30 thou. You could add a carb later if you wanted. Really depends on what your looking to spend. If you didn't want to spring for the new heads, you could just send your's down to EVT and have em shave the stockers. The 30 hp heads are a "closed chamber" design. Just means the compression chamber is a lil smaller and boost compression a lil bit.
