Been looking around at different mud motor options and found the utah marsh motors has anyone heard anything about these? |

Never heard of them until now. Looked at the website they look pretty stout. If it was me i would probably go with one of the bigger brands just because they have been doing it for so long you know you are gonna get a quality product. |

according to the website, it is a guy named mark cheney.. there is a member on here with that user name.. not sure if it is the same guy or not... |

It is the same guy i haven't herd much about them but what i have herd they are built pretty good |

looks good. i think you would be ok with one. would want to see the drive system better. bearing or bushing ? i like that extra bearing. |

I have seen his units first hand and they are top notch! and yes, it is the same Mark Cheney that is on here. He's a really good guy. He's worked on my GDLT a time or two and does excellent work. If I were in the market for a new motor it would definately be one of his. Each motor is made to order. IMO they are bullet proof setups becuase of how beefy he builds them. I would venture to guess that this time of the year would be a good time to order from him becuase he probably isnt overflowing with orders like he would be in sepetember/october. anywho. I can personally vouch for his work, if that means anything to ya'll. happy hunting. Gee |

he's been around for a long time. i haven't seen his units but i know people that say he makes a great mudmotor. ![]() |
