If ya had tears watching the trailer or reading the story you should watch the movie.. Wow.. Best part is that it's a true story.. At the end of the movie when they show pics and film clips of the real Chance I dare you not to have tears in your eyes..

saw your post last week Greg, and recorded it last Tuesday night and literally just finished watching it.

I'm 37 years old and I'll put that movie in my top 3 of all time. Not ashamed, tears in my eyes numerous times. Awesome doesnt describe that movie.

I have never taken for granted what troops do for me, never. But that movie really puts in perspective on what DOES happen. People die. And they died for my freedom and ability to do as I choose.

I watched it a couple of days ago. A very moving story, and if it does not bring tears to your eyes you don't belong here!! It's a must watch for everybody!!!

No need to be ashamed Mark.. I was trying to describe it to my mom the other day almost couldn't do it because it still choked me up and brought me to tears just trying to explain various parts..

On one hand it's sad and on the other hand it makes me proud to have served and to have been part of a bigger picture..

I have the movie on my netflix list but it looks like it will be a while, but can't wait to see it.

I have to agree with you, I just didn't want this awesome story to get train wrecked. We would have had 10 pages of shit and forget what the thread was about in the first place.

My wife and I finally had the opportunity to watch it last night.

Very moving, and made me proud of our military for the way they respect their fallen comrades.

Is it just on HBO? I don't get HBO, I'm on Netflix and Direct TV. Guess I'll have to wait for it to run a while on HBO and then it'll go to DVD.

that movie made me prouder to be an american than I ever have. I would loved to have seen what someone could say bad about it or our position in Iraq. I can only imagine. If someone saved it, I would love to see what my blood pressure could peak out at.

Thanks for the recomendation Rail... My roommates and I enjoyed it, even though we all sat in silence for about 30 minutes after.

I reccomended it to my mom and dad, and afterwards my mom called to say thanks for the reccomendation. She (a fairly liberal teacher) asked if I thought it was for or against war, and I replied 'neither'. She agreed and loved the movie.

In my opinion, it was showing the goodness of the American people, even in the face of tragedy. Very pro-troops and supportive of them. It was a very well filmed and thoughtful movie.

Makes me even more proud to be born in this country and live here. God bless our country, and our troops!

IMO I was dissapointed that from what I see we as citizens dont respect our soldiers, fallen or not the way they deserve. From what I see, the movie showed way more respect than most people I see
