I took my 8 y.o. son to a local motor cycle dealership to look at quads and it appears that the goverment has come up with some BS about lead paint and they can't sell any thing smaller than a 80 and they are only allowed to sell those for 12 and up. I told the guy that my son doesn't eat machines normally but I would make sure I watch him close. I want it for us to use when we ice fish ( yeah ice fish ) so he can follow us out and back since I got talked to by a C.O. for riding 2 up wich is also BS cause you can ride 2 on a snowmobile at 120mph all day long but not an ATV.

He is a little big for a 50cc so I think I will find him a Honda Fourtrax 90 and re-sticker it as a 50 and weld up some racks that I can pull off.

i heard about that, Honda cant sell any 09 90cc, cause they used lead paint on the MUFFLER, they reclassified itfor the 09 year, and it fell under a toy classification.
