 Airline hwy
I had some miles to put on a car today so I went for a little stroll down airline past I-10 from sorrento and I came across some WMA signs and a little boat ramp called the boat club. It looked like some nice area and close to work I could maby even make a evening fishing trip. Does anybody know anything about that area? What WMA it is or anything? Is that a public ramp?

It ain't worth a crap. They got so much fru fru boat traffic of the weekends you can't even do anything. Typical Baton Rouge juice freaks on the water. Atleast one fatal accident every summer.

Bow hunted it. Sat in my climber and watched cotton mouth after cotton mouth pass under my stand. Was scared to climb down after dark. A frog doesn't stand a chance.

 Re: Airline hwy
Always wanted to know what WMS that was. When i travel to NOLA i always seen trucks parked there on the side the interstate, and also seen some guys dragging a skillet head out the woods once.

 Re: Airline hwy
I used to live on diversion canal, and our old deer lease is now part of that WMA. We killed some monster deer out there and frogged all summer long, but like SwampSnyper said, the cottonmouths are everywhere. We used to mow them down with the .22s all day long. It used to not be bad to ride around in the airboat during the day, but now I'd be scared to run Blind River in an offshore fishing boat. With all that traffic, its worse than being in the gulf during a storm. I do still remember some of the good deer hunting spots out there though.
