I go where the birds go. Half of our state is locked up with permanent blinds with 500 yards of protection...occupied or not. The weird thing is, these guys will hunt that blind no matter what. If a bird hasn't been seen there in a month, there they are. I'm following those birds and doing my best to grind them when I catch up with em. We eat after the hunt. No coffee (makes you chit), no food (eat later phag, we're hunting) no water (makes you piss) no ganja (birds can see the smoke) and we limit the boat to one handle of Jack. |

No room for all that extra stuff with all the decoys. Thermos of coffee, bottle of water, pouch of Levi Garrett, two boxes of shells and I'm good to go. Hunted in weather as cold as -20 before plus windchill, and never saw a need for a heater. The thermos of coffee only gets half drank, just in case something on the boat freezes up and needs thawing in a hurry(throttle cables, switches, boat plug,etc.). Hot coffee's saved our butts more than once. |

Of course I'm lazy, that why I bought a boat instead of humpin my fat A$$ all the way out in the swamp to shoot at some birds. I enjoy the occasional snickers bar and chocolate milk, but do I bring out a waffle iron and start whippin up eggs benedict or something? hell no! and I make sure that I pack out 100% of what of whatever it is I pack in. |

Guys....I didn't want to bring my troubles on here but I need your prayers....... They.............Well..........They even made me eat a sausage biscuit  I'm so ashamed I can't even sleep or eat any more.........All I do is drink & take sleeping pills now. |
