I remember years ago hearing of a nickle that was melting the "gold" bullet of a .22 bullet with a lighter to make a gold toof out of, and it went off and shot him in the leg.

About 10 years ago i had a old shop in my back yard that was torn down. They had about 5-6 16ga. shot shell laying on the cement for god knows how long in the weather. I stated a fire on day just to burn the debry of to get it clean for a new shop. Well as i was siting their i head a little snap and next thing i know my finger went limp. The 209 primer went off and shot out the shell and hit me in my finger cutting it to the bone. I f it would of hit me in the head or eye could have been real bad.

Never hit one with a hammer. But we use to tape them on to the end of our BB guns and shoot them. That is until a flying casing went through my buddy's hamstring. Then we quit.

I had a freind that wanted a rifle bullet on a key chain.Told him look around and they sell them and he said ive seen them but not in30-06. To solve this problem he drilled the side of a bullet and poured the powder out and run a key ring on it. He was also the type when you get in the boat with go for an hour boat ride and decide the motor aint running right. He would pull the carb. off to clean it . An hour from land you dont pull carb. off unless you have to last resort
