verizon set me up here for some fiber work , i'll be up here for a few weeks and wouldn't mind getting out for some fishing.

it's like a damn rain forest up here ......... and i only say that cause back home in fl we be in a drought.

Beautiful stretch of highway, if you are going to be there for a few weeks you have to go to the coast at least ONCE. You are about 80-90 miles to there from Portland... and take a jacket, weather is in the 50's even in the middle of summer.

As for fishing.. go over to Nehalem and rent a boat! I dont even know if it is crab season, but thats something to do... or they could hook you up with some sort of guide for fishing.

A friend of mine got transfered there a year or so ago, he'd be willin to take you or hook you up with someone, he's got a new baby at home so it may be tuff for him to get away. PM me and i'll get him to email ya.
