Seems that in Florida, they have boatjackers now and the debate is on whether or not you can protect yourself and your boat. I've never had a word said to me in 50 years about either the rifle or the .357 I carry all the time. What say you? |

Well I know If they had boat jackers around here yeah I'd protect myself. Come try and take my boat while I'm on the water promise you won't make it back to dry land. |

I don't see how it wouldn't be legal. You can carry one in your truck so why not your boat. |

I'm in florida tampa area , I spend ALOT of time in the bay at night snook and red fishin , I"m not so worried about a boat jacker my 357 will take care of that but I like to use what we call the outlaw ramps because they make us pay at every fuckin ramp as of last year , and there some shady lookin people that hang around the ramp on the weekends , we don't have alot of mudmotors where I'm at so when people see it there like hey dude whats up wit the funny lookin motor , It's a boat motor and don't walk up next to me and look at it , look at it from over there it for your Own safty. I don't wantas sound to much like a prick but at 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning these folks are up to no good. |

I carry in the boat. State land is open for carry permits ( in TN) I would rather get a ticket for having it than to get back to the truck and find it's gone. have a friend Mr Green Jeans and he said I would be fine. Check local laws. |

Stainless GP-100 Ruger in the GTrax or Blazer. Hope I never have to use it. A 2 or 3 ft gaff will put someone that is unarmed outta your boat too. The 357 keeps you from having to get that close.

Always have at least a 22 pistol on me for snakes of all sorts. Man Fl just keeps goin down the tubes at a faster and faster pace, but the yankees still don't leave
