Anyone know any good ones that care about the stuff being shipped?

Need some material for boats (structural and bent hulls) shipped from pierce aluminum in Broussard to Tyler TX.

They said they have had bad luck with most shipping companies over long distance and have had stuff come back looking like aluminum foil.

Any help is appreciated

Items such as you describe must be well crated to insure they will survive the handling as freight companies pick them up, take them to a crossdock, and route them. Lots of potential for damage and the insurance and claims process is lengthy and will only piss you off.

Talk around, there has to be an Independent trucker in your area or even a company like ours that operates a small fleet of trucks to handle such transits. The price may seem high until you price crating that is sufficient.

You could spend a day and 150$ in fuel and put it on a flatbed trailer and know that it will get back safe.

Best way is to go get it yourself, or get a hotshot guy to deliver. I know a guy here who WILL NOT mess up your load.

Yea looking like gonna have to just do that. Everyone I've talked to so far is pretty high.

Haven't had much luck of anyone who goes anywhere near there on a regular route to try and do a backhaul
