Im torn between two lovers and feeling like a fool... Which would yall recommend.. I was really leaning toward browning at first.. But I have a lot of under armor stuff, and have always liked their products... And I love the way the skysweeper extreme looks..

For those of you that have had the under armor extreme.. What are some things you would change? Same for those that have a browning dirty bird parka..

since when did UA become dc crowd? lol yaw crack me up...id think the DC shit would be the DC crowd..which sucks cuz ive had their big jacket for 4 or 5 yrs now...but i wear UA its warm and comfortable..its also more of a snugger/better fit so all your clothes arent so baggy and catching everything

Y'all doing it all wrong. UA base layer and this paper thin coat MiK coat and I'm good down to freezing easy. None of that bulky thick insulated stuff needed.

Post subject:  Re: Browning Dirty Bird vs. Under Armor SkySweeper Extreme

i got a windstopper fleece from cabellas but its stiffer and heavier than my browning jacket......the dirty bird jacket is windproof waterproof and primaloft insulation, which is thin and light, and dosent bind.....i wear a silk bottom layer and if its really cold, some gander mtn micro fleece thermal type top and bottom......and my neoprene waders... but most of the time i wear my breathables....If it gets too cold for the dirty bird, i will throw on a down vest under it....still less bulk than my 4n1 columbia coat.....

Went with the UA skysweeper extreme..from all of the reviews I've read It looks like I've made the right choice. I wear other underarmor stuff and love it.. Wish they made more stuff such as gun cases, bags, etc.

I will say that I think Browning makers the best wader pants on the market. The dirty bird pants are more well thought out than any other wader pants out there

There are some times when the temperature allows it, I just wear my 3.0 base layer and wader pants along with the pullover hoody. Very lightweight and maneuverable. No bulk. You don't feel like the giant marshmallow from the movie Ghost Busters.

Just ordered the Jacket and Bibs from Wing Supply. I have a 7 or 8 year old Drake wader jacket that finally bit it the end of the season last year. Been draggin my feet on getting a new one for the past couple months cus i wasnt sure exactly what i liked. With that deal there was no way I could pass it up.

Ive gotta question.. What is the point in wader pants? Would water seem in from where the bottom goes over the boot?

Haha ive been confused on what they did  What I don't get why spend that much money on them, when you can just as easily wear jeans? Whats different about them to make them so significant for wearing under waders...

Post subject:  Re: Browning Dirty Bird vs. Under Armor SkySweeper Extreme

mine are fleece lined , have loops to hold down when u wear them in waders

Post subject:  Re: Browning Dirty Bird vs. Under Armor SkySweeper Extreme

Ah ok.. Extra warm, and have a thing to keep them from rising up.. It would be nice to have them if I could find some for under $80.. I just cant see spending that much when I can wear a pair of sweat pants with gators and have the same thing pretty much..

I had a cheap pair from cabelas. The fleece is much more comfortable and doesn't get balled up behind your knees if kneeling down.

Anybody tried the Drake Boat Pants?? My waders are on their way out, and last time I had to use them, it reminded me why I bought a boat... I don't plan on needing chest waders again anytime soon, but would like to have something pants high for pushing off sandbars and such. Anybody used them?
