I just have a Gerber Gator Jr. It's decent for cutting brush for blinds and has a saw on the back.

Post subject:  Re: Machete?

Cane knife! Fuck a machete, a cane knife will cut circles around a machete. And they're only like 10-15 bucks. If you lose it oh well buy a new one.

The gas powered hedge trimmer is where its at! You can cut a whole boat load of roso's in 2 minutes with out breaking a sweat.

I'd just get a pair of AKA's hands. They seem pretty dangerous and could probably rip through the heaviest of brush with no problem.

What you plan on cutting? Anything specific? There always a right tool for the job, cane knifes are good till your cutting briers. Long blades are good unless your cutting piggies in half for crawfish traps. I have 3 machetes, each one has a purpose.

Cut lines. When traversing with survey equipment through thick terrian. Cutting lines simply means cutting a straight line so that a shot can be made.

Don't go with a cane knife for cutting myrtles. Blades too thin.
