 Costa's
Been thinking about getting me a pair but for me 200 bucks is a lot to drop on a pair of glasses! Haha are they worth it? What lenses should I get? If I get a pair... Thinking about the cat cays? It says large fit but how large is it the fit? I never knew glasses came in sizes I just usually bought a cheap pair from gander and threw em on and I was good to go for a summer. Help me out guys!

I have blue and green and rather green. I wouldn't fish without em. From sight fishing reds, to finesseing bass with worms and flukes

 Re: Costa's
Get 580 p if you tend to drop them because the wont hardly break.
580 g will crack but won't hardly scratch.
I've had both and I would rather have the glass no doubt. I am pretty rough on things and haven't cracked or scratch them in about a year or better.
Well worth the money IMO.
Sent from my beeper.

 Re: Costa's
Costa is the way to go, I have 7 pair. For inshore fishing i would go with 580G, with green mirror lens. Cat Cay is a really nice frame, I have them, they block out the sun very good around the sides. Call C&M bayou fuel, if they don't have what u want, they will order it and ship it to your house. U can get a pair of $249 glasses for $179 from them….504-689-2061

 Re: Costa's
I've got the Blackfin with 580G Green Mirror lenses. I have had the same pair going on 6 years now. Bought them when they first came out and before they started with all the fancy colors of lenses. It was either green, blue, or black. I wouldn't trade them for anything. I have had to send them in a few times for repairs, but that was covered by warranty. All I had to pay was the $11 process fee and the shipping there. The only problem I have ever had with mine, is the glue separating the rubber from the frame right at the nose piece. Come to find out that was only because I left them in my car on summer days and the heat softened the glue up. No problems in the last 2 years with them.

 Re: Costa's
I got one pair in the bass pro bargain house in Springfield, MO for $34. I've had em for about 7-8 years now. They have been beat up and are still going. They have the poly lens. Gave a pair to my Dad and I have a pair with glass lens that I love.
They have a lifetime warranty. And from what I can tell Maui and the others don't. I had a pair of Maui Jim's that I liked but they are in about 80ft of water now:lol:
The rubber nose piece was coming off my new pair and they replaced the entire frame. Their warranty work cost about $11 to cover shipping. Looks like they are made here as well. At least their repair shop and such is in FL. Very good customer service.
The eye doctor told me to buy a "good" pair if sunglasses with all the best protection from UV and so on. He said there is a difference so I just took his word for it as he wasn't selling me some. He said it will save your eyes over the years.

 Re: Costa's
Me and my brother in law were bowfishing during the day. I had to wear his maui's so he could use my costa's to shoot fish. You gotta have the right lenses to what you fish. Period.

 Re: Costa's
The lenses color means more than the mirror tint

 Re: Costa's
X2 on 580p. My dog ate 2 pair in 2 months time. When I had them I liked them. I had the amber pair because they were good for seeing mud lines.

 Re: Costa's
I like mine. could be a bit bigger though on my big watermelon head.
I have the Hammerhead XL 580G in blue mirror. But forget trying to see your cell phone screen well though with them on. Everything else is great.

 Re: Costa's
I'm going to be using tees to fish bass and walleye in the summer so I'm not really "spotting" them and in the winter fishing on big lakes where the sun glares badly off the ice. So I take it I should get 580p with green mirror lenses?

 Re: Costa's
Let me say this again. The color if the lense means more. The mirror tint means way less. You can get them without mirror tint and they are just as effective
