Duck season out,fish not bitting yet? Rainy and cold out. Cabin/Spring fever at it worst. Somebody post a picture and share a camp fire story. I can say this season was the year of the woodduck for me! Old woody made for interesting morning hunts. I think I have learned to call and decoy some of them. Jerk string movement with wood duck decoys and a woodduck whine. Haydel call, I suckered a few woodduck in that were low and working the area. I will share a picture. Yall do the same. |

I love working wood ducks with the jerk string and the call. I use the duck commander wood duck call because I like the squeal it puts out. This year I didn’t shoot any wood ducks, but I shot more teal than I have in a lifetime. I guess it just depends on where you are at! |

Oh you had some really good hunts. Cinnamon teal are like gold nuggets in Mississippi flyaway. That a big mess of blue wing to be shooting a single barrel. |
