We have been busy with stolen car reports. Last night one of our guys found a stolen vehicle rolling and got in a pursuit. They were southbound on a curvey and hilly highway. Myself and a couple of other cars were south of the pursuit and we set up stop sticks. One of the guys in the pursuit gave their location about five miles away and I told the FNG's that they better be ready because they will be here real quick. They were in excess of 120mph. Within a few seconds the suspect hit the stop sticks at 120+ and flattened the tires. He jumped out a short distance later and got away but we know who he is. I have been in many many pursuits and can say that when that dude hit those stop sticks it was scarey how fast he was going. I was standing in a church parking lot with the FNG's and can say that if that vehicle would have hit our cars we would be attending church in a box. I'm usually the one chasing and I had a different look on this one. Next story will be on me getting kicked in the nuts last week while arresting a female on a arrest warrant. Randy |

Hey I can tell you guys that this dude would have hit us head on if we had been moving up the road looking for him. We caught his brother cooking meth last night after a farmer called in and reported a suspicious vehicle leaving his barn and finding some anhydrous was missing from his tank. He said his brother is the highway to hell. Our pursuit policies continue to change on a regular basis. Been a few years back I would have posted some pics of his crashed car. As told to me....we recovered the car,no one was hurt and the Dept did not get sued. DA I will get with you if you don't call me first. I'm unsure if what your schedule is. Stump this happened not to long after I got off the oyster hot line with you. Randy |
