I have seen this in a few places on our lease and its usually not to far from water

Anybody know what is doing this. I havent seen this anywhere like this before.

If its not to far from water, ive seen beavers go a couple hundred yards into the woods and chew on logs.

Never seen a beaver chew on dead wood but it could be. Does not really look like what I would think a bear would do either but I don't know that I have ever run across any bear sign

bear grills searchin for grubs to naw on? yea always saw beavers chew on fresher wood

I kinda thought it might be a beaver sharpening his teeth or something. I just thought it was kinda weird the way it just made the wood into chips and then it being pretty much dead wood,

Bear looking for Grubs or Amadillo. I've seen them do that before looking for grubs and termites in rotten wood.

No on the bear. Bears don't make sawdust chips. The stump would be mashed up and the log split open.

Im going to put out a camera next time I go up. We are trying some new protein food and put out our cameras there to see if they eat it.
