 Re: Bow fishin'
Thats what i figured... But i looked them up on the internet and even though they only have a 20lb draw weight, they still push 170fps with at 300 grains. Thats not bad at all i dont think. But what will it do with a bow fishing arrow?

 Re: Bow fishin'
How are the old school recurves for bow fishing? Other than being a little longer they seem like they would work just fine.

 Re: Bow fishin'
I shot gazillions of fish with a recurve and then started using Oneida bows. I lowered my poundage to real light and found I could not hit anything and bumped it back up to 50 pounds and got back on track. I troll the bow shops in my area and have bought several old used Oneidas for 50-75 bucks. I sold a couple on Ebay and basically shooting Oneidas for free now. Having a quick shooting bow like Oneida has helped drilling those giant bighead carp that disappear quickly when hit with the light . 35-50 pound bow is plenty. Nothing like line cutting water when you shoot a good one. Randy

 Re: Bow fishin'
I started using a PSE kingfisher recurve and love it. It works well for snap shots on reds and sheephead in the marsh. I have an old darton compound that I rigged a float on, but im switching to my old youth compound now that i got it back.
