Mud Bugs
Hey Yall,
I'm already done turkey hunting for the season and looking for a new hobby. I live in SOUTH FLORIDA near BOCA RATON and do most of my waterfowling in the Everglades. I recently upgraded motors on my skiff and was looking to try and get on some mud bugs... anyone have any luck down here? Not looking for ur honey hole, just a place to snag a few for an appetizer. TIA

Re: Mud Bugs
Buy you a dozen crawfish traps - bait them and place them in a fairly fresh water area - check weekly and soon you will be havin some good eats for pennies....

Re: Mud Bugs
Better check Florida regulations. Here in South Carolina you can only set 5 traps with out a commercial license.

I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure that far south isn't going to produce anything.

Re: Mud Bugs
Get you a set of pillow traps. The fold flat and store easy. Use a real mushy bait and put plenty of it.
