We got lucky that a couple expecting a baby backed out on this female at the last minute and the timing of our call fell in perfectly. They had already received two calls today about buying her. Said that someone all the way from New Mexico wanted to come get her. The kennel owner said she has only ever sold just a couple dogs locally. Some to folks in S LA but the rest out of state.

I forgot about these little needle sharp puppy teeth. She has already drawn blood a 1/2 dozen times. And she goes like the energizer bunny non stop until she will just fall out and sleep for a short time before doing it all over again. She looks fragile but she is pretty damn tough and fearless. She is gonna be a handfull. Her parents are about 30 lbs so she will not be big. But I think she will handle the biggest ducks without a problem. She is already dragging around stuff larger and heavier than she is.

On point! Mine did that from day one, still does. It can be anything and she'll point at it. My favorite is when a fly gets in the house.

Thanks. I didn't know how she would handle that cold azz water but she jumped right in and swam like a champ. I think she is gonna be a good one.

You can't see in the pics but there was a group of about 20 canvasbacks sitting 50-60 yards off my right shoulder. I thought Jo got pics but she didn't.

My weinner dog loves the water and swims all the time. She had a slow start and had to learn how to level her body out to so she would not sink. But we had her in the boat and water since she was just a couple months old.

Roxy (the daschund) loooooooves the boat and being in water. We took her on the LA run with us. But we just always took her to the lake/river with us. Silly dog cries when the boat pulls away from the house with out her... for hours. ugh. Bella is going to be a good dog... can tell her bond with Ron is there. The way she makes eyecomtact with him for approval after a task. I adore the man and my arse wouldn't have went into that cold water to fetch a stick. ;)
