Re: Commands! I made sure Sadie understood that SIT= STAY in my opinion giving one command of "SIT" should have the dog frozen eyes fixed on you until you give another command.

Re: Commands! As someone who's fed his family with retriever training, I can tell you that sit means sit until released. Stay should not exist.
