 Daisy's December Geese
A few days ago, "the pond" was iced over. Then we received a long, steady drizzle and above freezing temperatures. After scouting one day.....there was nothing flying and no "visitors". The next day five geese showed up in the afternoon. Today looked like the last day........if they flew.
Daisy and I were setup by 7:30 am and home in one hour. Wow! There were geese everywhere.
"Daisy's first goose was easy."
"The second looked simple, too."
"Oops.....it's a cripple!"
"The fight's on."
"It's Not Over."
"Finally!"
